It is a great pleasure to invite all of you to register and join us during the 3rd Protein Biophysics at the End of the World (PBATEOTW), to be held between April 24-27, 2018 at Facultad de Ciencias Biológicas, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

PBATEOTW is a meeting organized through the generous participation of several Latin American scientists in order to bring together computational and experimental researchers, undergraduate and graduate students from Latin America focused in the study of protein folding, structure, function and dynamics, in both its fundamental and applied aspects. The third version of PBATEOTW will also include non-Latin American researchers, that will broaden the scope of our meeting and strengthen the scientific research in the areas of biochemistry, computational biology and biophysics within Latin American countries. The aim is to gather some of the top exponents of the biophysics in the region as well as young members of the community, in order to unify the different visions in the study of the field.
A tentative program of the conference will be uploaded to the official website at the beginning of December 2017, which currently includes the participation of Jose N. Onuchic(Rice University), Charles R. Sanders (Vanderbilt University), Alejandro Buschiazzo, Sergio Pantano and Matias Machado (Institut Pasteur Montevideo) as speakers.

The registration to this event is free for all attendees. Moreover, there are Travel Awards for international young scientists financed by the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB).
